BitBlinder

BitBlinder is an open source application that allows you to protect your internet activity from companies that want to track what you're doing.
BitBlinder lets you:

  • Download torrents anonymously via BitTorrent.

  • Browse the Internet privately and bypass any IP filters.

  • Hide your IP address to protect your identity.

Think of it as a highly evolved version of Peerguardian, that will allow you to use torrent clients to download any files without being worried that someone might sniff in what you're doing (like RIAA).
It works in a very simple way: "BitBlinder mixes your Internet traffic with the traffic of everyone else in the BitBlinder network." This means that no one can can know exactly what you did online, since there are millions of pieces flying around.
